El espacio exterior ante el auge de las estrategias híbridas

Resumen

Tradicionalmente considerado un entorno pacífico y escasamente explorado, el espacio exterior atraviesa en la actualidad un proceso de transformación que lo sitúa en el centro de las dinámicas estratégicas globales. La creciente militarización y la incorporación progresiva de capacidades con fines armamentísticos reflejan un cambio sustancial en la naturaleza de las actividades espaciales, que han dejado de estar exclusivamente vinculadas al ámbito civil o científico. En este nuevo contexto, el espacio se configura como un dominio propicio para la aplicación de estrategias híbridas, utilizadas por diversos actores para avanzar en sus intereses políticos y militares. Esta evolución contribuye a debilitar la imagen de neutralidad y estabilidad que tradicionalmente se ha atribuido al entorno espacial. Este análisis explora los factores que hacen del espacio exterior un escenario crucial para las amenazas híbridas, examinando los aspectos que permiten a los actores aumentar su influencia política y estratégica y abordar el creciente riesgo que representa para la estabilidad espacial.
