Abstract

With little more than two hundred years of republican life, Colombia has been radically transformed in the last decade, thanks largely to the fulfillment of the constitutional mission of the Armed Forces, which have led to the weakening of terrorist groups that maintain an anachronistic conflict against the State. This turning point, which allows thinking about new challenges for the country and its Armed Forces, is the origin for new strategic models of what today is conceived as the Army of the Future, which requires officers, sub-officers, civilians and State agencies increasingly better trained to assume the roles that the Colombian State will demand in an increasingly complex world.
