Methodological díscussion about military history studíes applied to the North Africa campaign in Second World War, 1941-1943
Abstract
The purpose of this article is to identify a bibliographic taxonomy on military studies of North African campaign in World War 11, as well as enter preliminarily on the first step of this exercise through reference and analysis of British sources. For this, the article goes into the analysis of discussions about the military history of World War 11, from German optics and the debate generated towards the early 8o's of the past century. The most important discovery given in the study is wealth in British perspectives, -first step of analysis- regarding the development of the African campaign, where finds a high degree of familiarity with his German opponent and goes to the analysis of its operational advantages, psychological, social and economic aspects.
